Busy Weekend

We had a busy weekend! On Saturday, Lewisville held their annual Western Day celebration. A parade, petting zoo, bounce houses, choo choo train, and lots more! Jesse had to work at the event, so Chase and I headed out to enjoy the festivities...and see Jesse for a little while. We watched the parade first, then headed over to see the animals and ride the choo choo. By choo-choo, I mean a 4 wheeler pulling a chain of 55 gal drums on their sides with the middle cut out and wheels....very creative. Chase loved it!

Here he is watching the longhorn cattle drive....or Dah-duh's as he calls most animals.

Close-up after the parade...

Not quite sure what to think, except that he wanted OUT of his stroller.

Petting a goat. This was the only animal he was interested in....the rest of our time in the petting zoo he was more interested in running from one side to the other and holding onto the fence. I guess he thought he was in there to stay with the animals.

Ahhh, back in the air conditioning. Here we are at Sonic waiting for our ice cream.

Sunday was an afternoon at my Grandmother and Granddad King's to celebrate fall birthdays. My Grandmother brought out my Dad's old toys for Chase....he pulled this one around for quite a while.

As soon as he discovered these chairs, he immediately started climing in and out of them, then from one to the other, then pushed them around the floor. Of all things...they were great entertainment at GG's!
